Camroc Press publishes and sells books on military history. We focus primarily on personal stories, diaries, letters, and memoirs as a way to understand how combat affects those caught up in war.
At this time, we are especially interested in World War II, said by many to be the defining event of the 20th century. We are always looking for personal accounts of anyone affected by that war. If you have family members who lived through World War II, we at Camroc Press urge you to sit down with them and document their experiences. You will be glad you did. Similarly, we are also looking to publish the personal stories of warriors and noncombatants from the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and Iraq. There are amazing stories of combat and survival that remain undocumented. Our goal is to help save as many of these personal memories as possible. Whether flying ace or artilleryman, infantry soldier or submariner, factory worker or war bride - all have stories important to understanding our collective past. |
